As of 2nd December 2020 the cafe and record shop have reopened to the public, and are required to meet government regulations to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

We've halved the number of tables and chairs in the cafe (and totally removed them from the basement), deep cleaned absolutely everything, have hand sanitiser available upon entry, and await what this "new normal" will bring!
It's down to you as customers to keep yourselves and everyone else in the building safe at all times, so please be patient as we adjust to this new way of working. With this in mind...
If you are displaying symptoms of Coronavirus, do not come here. Stay home and self-isolate for two weeks.
If you plan to sit in the cafe, the following rules must be observed:
- Hand sanitiser must be applied on the way in and out.
- All customers must wear a face covering (unless they are exempt).
- Once you're sitting at your table, you can remove your face covering.
- All staff must now wear a face covering.
- You must complete the track and trace form as you enter the building.
Here's a reminder of our rules to acknowledge if you plan on visiting the record shop:
- Apply hand sanitiser before coming downstairs (this will be supplied at the top of the stairs).
- The wearing of face masks is mandatory at all times in the basement (as there is almost no fresh air flow). Please bring your own mask; no mask, no entry.
- Observe social distancing and remain at least 1 metre (preferably 2 metres) apart from everyone at all times.
- A maximum of FOUR customers can be downstairs at any time. Please be prepared to wait during busy periods.
- To allow as many customers as possible to browse at once, please do not bring children downstairs.
- There is no longer any café seating downstairs, please leave any food or drink upstairs. Your visit should be to as quick and efficient as possible to avoid prolonged periods of contact with anyone indoors (so no loitering!)
