There's a big change for RSD this year - the revised date in June has now been scrapped, and the current working plan (very much subject to change) is that there will be three separate Record Store Day "drops" this year, on the dates 29th August, 26th September, and 24th October.
The current product list still features what you can expect to see out this year, but their release will be spread across these three separate dates. Full allocation of which product will be available on which date is expected to be announced soon.
And just incase we still aren't allowed to leave our houses, online sale rules have also been relaxed - meaning that we'll be able to sell titles online from 6pm the same day of release.
Read the full press release from RSD / ERA on their website here.
We can't say we're sure whether this is a good idea or not, but at least we're still getting all those limited edition releases, eventually! Keep an eye on our website's dedicated RSD page for more info whenever we get it.
