This is the big one! The official Record Store Day 2019 product list has been announced!
You can download it from the official RSD website, but in the likely event this will be very slow (or even crash) tonight, we’ve got a copy on our own website you can download here. If you’re reading this after the evening it came out (Thursday 28th February) you should be able to download it from the official website without any problems.
You can also browse titles on the RSD website, which features album covers and full descriptions! Click here to view...
Now it’s over to you – we need you to send us your wishlists of what you want to pick up on April 13th! Of course we can’t reserve anything or allow any pre-orders, but the better an idea we have of what our customers want, the more accurately we can place our orders to avoid any disappointments on the big day.
Email andy@relevantrecordcafe.co.uk (and title the email subject “RSD wishlist”, or something similar) – it’s incredibly useful to help gauge interest in different products, and we’re very appreciative to hear from you!
And whatever you do – don’t be the wally that requests American RSD titles! Use the “recordstoreday.co.uk” (not “.com“) to find out about what’s being released. Plenty of the titles are international releases, and will be available in both the US and the UK, but there are always lots of American exclusives that are near-impossible to get over here. We always get 10-20 different titles come in as imports (usually hip-hop reissues), but they’re super-pricey (think £35-£40 for a single LP!!) due to import costs and international shipping charges.
Once we’ve placed our orders, we’ll publish a provisional list of what we anticipate to stock (probably in a few weeks).
Keep up to date with all our RSD activities at www.relevantrecordcafe.co.uk/recordstoreday
