Record Store Day falls on Saturday 13th April this year, but we’re one of several record stores around the country holding a “launch party” to coincide with the official product list being announced.
It's on Thursday 28th February from 6pm, right when the official product list is announced, and we'll be circulating print-outs of the complete list for you to dissect over drinks and music.
So call past for beers, cocktails, music and plenty of laughs as we all comb through the list and discuss the highs and lows of what’s on offer this year. Our 2-for1 cocktail offer will be running between 5pm-7pm, and there's even a chance of some free promotional cider!
You could even do us a favour and tell us what you hope to pick up next month on Record Store Day itself – ordering the right quantities is never an easy task!
The Vinyl Emporium team (along with an all-star cast of shop regulars) will be DJing records released and reissued on Record Store Days of years gone by (and maybe a few extras thrown in too) - sort of an executive Bring Your Own Beats themed around RSD.
“Lively discussion” is guaranteed! Come muse with the musos of Cambridge over a few dinner-time drinks?
