With the entire county now under Tier 4 restrictions, we're still open for business, even if you can't come inside the building!
Here's all the info you could possibly need on our current state of affairs during the Covid-19 global pandemic:
- The cafe are now offering a takeaway service, seven days a week, 9am-4pm each day. You can't come in and sit down (obviously), but checkout the Monday-Friday menu and Saturday-Sunday menu to see what's currently on offer.
- All live music and evening events are cancelled / postponed indefinitely.
- Relevant Records are still trading online and shipping orders out every day! We can't stress enough that now is the time we need you to keep shopping with us to ensure we can survive this period of lock-down. We actively encourage the stockpiling of records in these trouble times! All the info below is regarding the record shop...
- We sell via our website and Discogs, though we have to pay large fees to the latter, so please keep it local and shop via our website! Our entire catalogue of new records is browse-able in our online shop, stock levels are more accurate, and prices are often cheaper there too.
- We offer a variety of ways to get your records to you...
- We can post your order out to you via Royal Mail (as per usual) to where ever you're quarantined, anywhere in the world!
- You can select "Local Pickup" as your shipping option at the checkout stage to avoid any postage costs - just drop by the shop (between 10am-4pm), tell the cafe staff you're here to collect an online order (and your name), and someone will run your order up to you (whilst maintaining a safe two meter distance at all times). Don't forget your loyalty card!
- Please be patient with your online orders. We are operating with some considerable backlog, and orders are taking longer to prepare and package than usual. Once we send them, there are some delays with UK domestic postal services (especially 2nd Class). International orders have no problem leaving the country, but each individual country's domestic postal service is coping differently at the moment, so we can't comment on what it'll be like in your specific location.
- There's currently at least one member of staff in the basement everyday between 10am-4pm, so please give us a call if you want clarification on anything mentioned above. We can also take card payments over the phone if you'd rather shop with us that way - just give us a call! 01223 244 684
